Floating crane
Floating crane, also known as crane vessel or floating crane. Inland ports use non-self-propelled crane vessels, usually equipped with various types of cranes on square-shaped ship decks, along with ship mooring equipment and living facilities. Small and medium-sized floating cranes generally use shore power supply. If self-propelled, they need to be equipped with propulsion systems. Floating cranes can perform loading and unloading operations between shore and ship or between ships, featuring light self-weight, small footprint, high working efficiency, good operational stability and flexible operation, making them ideal handling equipment for inland rivers and lakes. They are particularly suitable for port dredging and port engineering construction operations, such as serving as grab dredgers, floating sand unloaders, floating coal unloaders, etc.
