XGN□-12 Box-Type Fixed AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear (hereinafter referred to as switchgear) is used in three-phase AC 50Hz systems with voltage up to 12kV for receiving and distributing electric energy. It is particularly suitable for frequent operation occasions. The busbar system adopts single busbar configuration, and can also be derived into single busbar with bypass or double busbar structures.

This switchgear features a metal-enclosed box-type construction. The frame is assembled from section bars, and the interior is partitioned by steel plates into circuit breaker compartment, busbar compartment, relay compartment and cable compartment. The operation status of main components can be observed through viewing windows on doors and internal lighting.

The switchgear complies with Chinese National Standard GB3906 "AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear for Rated Voltages from 3.6kV to 40.5kV" and International Standard IEC62271-200:2003. It is equipped with complete "five-prevention" interlocking functions.

The main switch adopts ZN28A-10 series vacuum circuit breakers matched with CT8-10 or ZN73(VS1) integral circuit breakers. The disconnector cabinet uses GN30-10 rotary disconnectors, GN22-10 high-current disconnectors and GN30-10 rotary high-current disconnector series products.
